Elwood Olsen Stadium - Home of the Mustangs
Renovated in 2005, Elwood Olsen Stadium is one of the elite NAIA football facilities in the nation. The Mustangs have a 16-1 record at home since the start of the 2004 season. The Mustangs were ranked #15, #3, and #8 in the country over the past three seasons.
The campus of Morningside College is located at 1501 Morningside Avenue in Sioux City, Iowa; off of Interstate Hwy 29, 90 miles north of Omaha, Neb., and 75 miles south of Sioux Falls, S.D
Driving North on I-29: Follow I-29 and take exit #144A “Highway 20 – East Fort Dodge Exit”.
Follow Hwy. 20 until you see the 1st exit, Lakeport Road. Take this exit.
At the stoplight turn left on South Lakeport Road.
Stay on South Lakeport Road approx. 2 miles and through 7 stoplights. At the 8th stoplight turn left on Morningside Avenue.
Go approx. 5 blocks. You will want to merge into the right lane. Just past McDonalds, Morningside Avenue turns to the right. Follow Morningside Avenue to the second stoplight (approx. 3 blocks).
Turn left on Peters Avenue. You will then see the campus entrance to your left.
Driving North on Highway 75: From Hwy. 75, take the Transit Avenue exit.
Turn right at the stop sign.
At the stoplight, turn right onto Transit Avenue. Stay on this road for just over a mile until you reach the 2nd stoplight. Turn left at the stoplight onto Morningside Avenue.
Follow Morningside Avenue to the second stoplight (approx. 3 blocks).
Turn left on Peters Avenue. You will then see the campus entrance to your left.

Driving South on I-29: Follow I-29 (move to right lane) and take exit #147B – Business Hwy 20/Gordon Drive.
At the stop sign at the end of the exit ramp, take a right onto Busn. 20 East/Gordon Drive.
Follow Business 20 East/Gordon Drive through 2 stoplights and cross the viaduct.
At the end of the viaduct, exit right on So. Lewis Boulevard.
Follow Lewis Boulevard south to the Transit Avenueexit.
At the end of the exit ramp, turn left at the stoplight. Go under the bridge and turn right at the stoplight onto Transit Avenue. Stay on this road for just over a mile until you reach the 2nd stoplight.
Turn left onto Morningside Avenue.
Follow Morningside Avenue to the second stoplight (approx. 3 blocks).
Turn left on Peters Avenue. You will then see the campus entrance to your left.
Driving South on Highway 75: Follow Highway 75 – S. Sioux City bypass.
Take Exit 93 – Ft. Dodge-Gordon Drive.
At the stop sign turn right. [Follow Business 20 into Sioux City]. You will pass K-Mart and Menards. Merge into the left lane and go 1.5 miles or to the 4th stoplight and turn left on Stone Avenue. (Burger King will be on the right side of the street.)
Follow Stone Avenue for 6 blocks to the first stop sign. Turn left at the stop sign onto Morningside Avenue. Continue on Morningside Avenue for 3 blocks to the 2nd stoplight.
At the 2nd stoplight turn right on Peters Avenue. The entrance to campus is on your left.
Driving West on Highway 20: Follow Business Hwy 20 into Sioux City. You will pass K-mart and Menards (merge into left lane). Follow Business 20/Gordon Drive until you reach the 4th stoplight at which you will turn left onto Stone Avenue. (Burger King will be on the right-hand side.)
Follow Stone Avenue approx. 6 blocks until you reach the first stop sign. Turn left at the stop sign onto Morningside Avenue.
You will continue on Morningside Avenue for approx. 3 blocks until you reach the 2nd stoplight.
Turn right at the second stoplight on Peters Avenue. You will then see the campus entrance to your left.
Driving East on Highway 20 (from Nebraska): Follow Hwy 20 into Iowa to exit #1 Lakeport Road. Take this exit.
At the stoplight turn left on South Lakeport Road.
Stay on South Lakeport Road approx. 2 miles and through 7 stoplights. At the 8th stoplight turn left on Morningside Avenue.

From the Airport: Exit the airport and get on I-29 North at exit #141.
